48 people, 6 teams, 2 days, 1 field. Not one single woman will be turned away (although we don't expect to turn away any boys either). One field, so everyone gets lots of watching and hanging in the sun. Normally we play four games Saturday starting around 10 and then two games on Sunday (starting late), plus a final for the superstars.

Accommodation at the Surf Life Saving Club is included in your fee. But mostly people bring a tent and pitch in the camping ground 100 metres from the beach. Expect a party too. Normally we have a BBQ at surf HQ on Saturday night and a few welcome drinks on the Friday night.

Whangarei is about 2 and a half hours north from Auckland. Ocean Beach and surrounds have great fishing and surfing too.
